Faithful Husband

“For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?” 1 Corinthians 7:16, NASB.

In Northern Thailand there are only a handful of young Christian believers. When it comes time to marry, there are few options in finding a believing spouse. Marrying a Buddhist is often the only choice for those wanting a family.

Nui was raised in a Buddhist family. She later met and fell in love with a Christian young man. Once they were married, her husband, who attended church faithfully, asked Nui to join him on Sundays. She agreed and soon became very interested. She saw how her Buddhist friends drank a lot and many were unfaithful to their spouses. This was so different from what she saw in her new Christian husband and his friends.

God began speaking to her heart, revealing His love for her. Nui accepted Christ. She was amazed at how God worked in her heart! His love began to flow through her to others who needed God’s love. For the first time in her life, Nui began to genuinely love and care for the people around her. She and her husband are now full-time workers sharing Christ in Northern Thailand.

Pray that:

Christians in Northern Thailand will be faithful in marriage with their unbelieving spouses.

God will bless Nui and her husband with many children and a fruitful ministry.

Many Northern Thai will respond to the love of God that they see in Nui’s life.
