1. Pray that God would bring complete families and communities to faith at the same time. Individual decisions may result in persecution and discouragement to new believers.
2. Ask the Lord to draw groups of believers together and give them a vision of planting new churches that will rapidly reproduce and touch entire people groups with the Gospel.
3. Ask that grace would be given to relief efforts in the eyes of governing authorities so that long-term relationships may be built.
4. Pray that God would continue to call out volunteers and give them travel mercy to and from the field as they show His love to tsunami survivors. Pray that churches and associations would consider five and even ten year partnerships to help rebuild even after the storm is forgotten news.
5. Pray that the Lord will sustain and strengthen disaster relief personnel who are physically and emotionally spent through long hours and hard work in the tsunami relief efforts.
6. Pray that wisdom would be granted to help those coordinating relief efforts to do so in a way that helps the survivors to rebuild rather than creating a dependence on foreigners.
7. Pray that God would contine to stay disease that often follows in the wake of natural disasters. Pray that this would happen in a way that brings glory to Him.
8. Ask the Lord to grant divine appointments to believers in storm areas coupled with boldness and grace to make the most of every opportunity.
9. Ask God to reveal Jesus through any and every means possible so that people will realize that He is the One and only true way to salvation.
10. Pray Galations 6:9. There will be a harvest if we don’t give up!
