The Right Path

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.’” John 14:6, NASB.

A good Muslim prays five times a day. In this repeated prayer the devotee asks God to show them the right path. Even those Muslims who do not actually pray five times a day recognize the prayer they are supposed to be praying. Mel* has found that this religious custom is a good bridge to share truth.

Whenever a Muslim brings up the topic of religion with Mel he asks them, “You pray for God to show you the right path everyday. Has God shown you anything in answer to that prayer?” Islam offers no assurance of heaven so Muslims really don’t have a good answer to Mel’s question. He then shares about the answer that God has given to him about the right and sure path to heaven.

*Name changed for security reasons.

Pray that:

The Muslims with whom Mel shares will find the right path to God.

Devotion to tradition will not blind people from finding truth and salvation in Jesus.
