A Christian Wedding

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7, NIV.

Lynn* is a 19-year old hostess at the first hotel we stayed at in a Last Frontier country in the Pacific Rim. I had come to her city as part of a prayerwalking team, and Lynn was certainly an answer to prayer!

Her English was very good, which gave us the freedom to talk to her deeply about spiritual matters. She excitedly shared about her fiancé, who may be Christian. She said she wanted to have a Christian style wedding, but it wasn’t clear what she meant by that.

Lynn was the first person the team shared a New Testament with on the trip. This copy of the New Testament had the Roman Road with page numbers in the front of it, and one member of our team led Lynn through all the scripture verses. Many local people in the hotel lobby were listening to what the foreigners were sharing. It was such a wonderful opportunity for many people to hear the Gospel!

Lynn said, “Other foreigners have told me about this, and I have friends who talk to me about Christianity. I don’t understand it all yet, but I am learning.”

Prayerwalkers in Last Frontier areas of the Pacific Rim will be guided by God to meet and share with seekers like Lynn.

God will continue to bring believers to share with Lynn, and that she will come to know Jesus as her LORD and Savior.

A reproducing church will be established in Lynn’s city before the end of 2007.
