Pray for Me Too

“As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.” 1 Samuel 12:23, NIV.

Brooke Brandon is a 23-year-old special education graduate from Texas A&M University. For the past year she has been using her love for Jesus and special needs children to minister in Chiang Mai, Thailand, as a Journeyman with the IMB at Grace International School.

Besides teaching at Grace, Brooke regularly meets with a group of Thai college students to study the Bible. She prays every morning that they will come to know Jesus as Savior.

Maew is a 24-year-old Northern Thai woman who also works at Grace. She has heard about Christianity from many people, but has never seemed interested. One day she asked Brooke to study the Bible with her. Brooke was only too happy to comply with this request.

Maew asked Brooke, “I know you pray for those college girls to be Christians. Will pray that I will become a Christian too?”

While this is not your everyday request, Brooke was only too happy to comply!

Thinking back on this experience, Brooke said, “I am in awe of how God is drawing my friend to Himself. It is such an honor to be part of the work God is doing here in Thailand.”

Pray that:

Maew will become a follower of Jesus.

The college students that Brooke studies the Bible with will become faithful followers of Christ.

The knowledge of Jesus will cover the city of Chiang Mai, and many Northern Thai will be call on His name and be saved.
