So Lost

"For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10, NAS.

My father has always shown me so much love. While he is Buddhist, he has respected my decision to follow my conscience in following God as a Christian. Recently my dad lost his job in Japan. I shared with him from God’s word and offered to pray for him. Tears welled up in his eyes, and we prayed.

I know in my heart that if my father comes to faith, then the rest of the family will follow. Sometimes it seems as if he is so lost that he will never accept the Gospel. Yet as we prayed together I realized that he may not be as lost as I thought. After all, God specializes in searching for and finding the lost people of this world! He found me.

Pray that:

This Thai Christian’s entire family will be found by God and accept His salvation.

Thai Christians will not become discouraged by a seeming lack of response from their family to their efforts in sharing the Gospel with them.
